Five Animations for Each Pillar of the Safe System

Transport Scotland have created five short animations for each pillar of the Safe System:

• Safe Road Use;
• Safe Vehicles;
• Safe Speeds;
• Safe Roads and Roadsides;
• Post-crash Response

Scotland’s Road Safety Framework to 2030 advocates embedding the Safe System approach at a national, regional, local and even individual level, and these short animations can help play a part in achieving this.

The animations will be hosted on the Safe System page, with further content included on each pillar of the Safe System.

These animations will play a part in achieving a nation conversation on road safety and educating everyone in Scotland on the Safe System approach and our collective responsibility to keep Scotland’s road safe.
