Scotland's Road Safety Framework

Launch of the 2021 Road Safety Framework and Evaluation Fund.

We are pleased to announce the launch of the 2021 Road Safety Framework Fund.  This year we are looking for applications which will directly contribute to the delivery of Scotland’s Road Safety Framework 2030.

In addition, for the second time, the Road Safety Framework Evaluation Fund will also be available. Evaluating road safety initiatives will help to identify the impacts both positive and negative and help to better demonstrate their effectiveness.

Launching the Road Safety Framework Funding the Cabinet Secretary for Transport, Infrastructure and Connectivity, Michael Matheson, said:

“I recognise that many organisations and community groups want to help us make Scotland’s roads safer – and the latest funding of £500,000 will help support their ideas, innovation and evaluation in 2021.”

Applications are welcome from any organisation in Scotland provided they meet the funding criteria and limitations as set out on the Initiative pages.

Organisations have until midnight 23 May to apply. For more information and application guidance please visit our road safety funding pages.
