If you get caught driving a car without a licence (in any circumstance), you’re putting your future driving record, and your future licence, in jeopardy.
The penalty
The penalties if you get caught driving under age or without a Licence are the same as driving when disqualified. There is a fine of up to £1,000 as well as 3-6 points on your Licence.
The consequences
A record will be created at the DVLA with the applicable endorsement points so that when you do apply for a Licence, your points will be recorded.
The points are applied at the time of the conviction – whether or not you have a Licence.
You’ve got to ask yourself – is it really worth it?
