Notes for Educators

  • Encourage your children to practice the four steps and the Roadstar Code moves from our Roadstar Code Song video. They can work in pairs and help each other get them right.
  • ’Random reminders’: shout out a step number in any order through the day for your children to shout back the correct word and do the action as fast as they can.
  • Homework: encourage your children to teach their family/carers and friends the moves at home. They can also observe them as they cross the road and then report back on how everyone did: were the steps in the correct order? Did they do the moves? Who was the best? Did anyone need help? Keep scores!
