What is Crash Magnets?

Road accidents are the leading cause of death and injury to young people aged 14-25 in Scotland. And ‘Crash magnets’ is a phrase that we coined to describe these young road users.

This resource can be used at home, or in the classroom. Each of the topics has discussion points and questions to help young people explore their own road safety habits, feelings, and behaviours.

Using the roads safely is an essential life skill. The Crash Magnets’ content will help young people form positive attitudes and safety behaviours that could, one day, save their life.
