Activity: Get from the park to the corner shop safely
Work in pairs or groups to complete the following activity.
Plan a safe walking route from the park to the corner shop.
- Write down your tips for crossing the road safely.
- List three road dangers to look out for on your journey.
- Discuss: Is it always safe to use the underpass?
- There are a few parked cars outside corner shop. Why is it important that you don’t cross the road in between them?
